Following many years of service to Saltburn Learning Campus, Anne Asprey has resigned her position as Chair of Governors as she has taken up a new job, which involved her having to relocate down south.
Anne has asked that the following message be circulated
“I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed being on the governing bodies of the campus, going through the trials and tribulations of all that is involved with the changes that we have gone through. I have so many highlights – a few low but the highs most definitely overwhelm the lows.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you, the staff and our learners for the support that you gave me in carrying out my role”
At the last Full Governing Body, Richard Dowson was voted in as chair to replace Anne. Richard has asked that the following message be circulated.
“Anne will be a very hard act to follow, but I look forward to taking up the challenge. SLC is a fantastic facility with excellent staff and it is truly an honour to be elected as chair of the Governing body”
Richard’s term of office is effective immediately.
