Year 7
Aims:
To enable students to gain a firm foundation in Mathematics and acquire problem-solving strategies that can be applied in everyday life.  To develop students’ confidence in their own ability and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

Topics:
Six key areas: 1-number, 2-algebra, 3-ratio, proportion and rates of change, 4-geometry and measures, 5-probability and 6-statistics.  Within each topic, students will practise important techniques and apply these to problems, investigations and real-life contexts.

Year 8
